Our global strategies invest primarily in the developed markets of North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific but may make opportunistic investments in emerging market economies. We maintain diversified exposure to commercial real estate sectors including office, retail, industrial, residential, healthcare, education and hotel properties.

Offices

The office sector has also undergone a major transformation in the last decade. A significant shortage of supply in key markets coupled with disruptive occupier trends has led to new requirements for both tenants and investors.

 

Our office investments gives us a strong understanding of these trends in the occupier and investment markets. This helps us to execute a clear strategy that identifies ‘hotspots’ – well-known office locations with good accessibility by car and public transportation, high-quality office assets and many amenities.

 

For our office investments, we adopt a cycle-aware investment style focused on value creation through active asset management, such as leasing vacancy, re-branding, refurbishing or redeveloping.

Residential

We have been active in the micro-living, serviced apartments and student housing segment for many years. We acquire residential assets on strategic locations and we develop properties to add to our portfolio.

Our investment universe comprises residential property of varying sizes and many different structures across The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The investment focus is on living space for the broad Population.

Retail

Retail is experiencing a transformational period as it adapts to major structural changes in consumer behavior, shopping habits and technology. Our retail investments combined with our research capabilities and on-the-ground intelligence allows us to create value as well as long-term investments.

We have the ability to source off-market transactions and execute complex property-level strategies.

Logistics & Industrial

We are investing from grade A-properties, industrial and logistic warehouses to last mile delivery facilities in key European hubs.

The growth of e-commerce significantly impacts the logistics sector at many levels including investor and tenant requirements, size and how to best incorporate the latest technology.

We believe our approach along with our collaboration with partners, gives us a competitive advantage to overcome rapidly evolving challenges in the market. We can rely on in-depth market knowledge and sourcing capabilities to anticipate to the latest industry trends and technological developments.

Hotels

We currently hold hotel properties in our actively managed portfolio and are also pursuing a clear growth strategy outside Europe. Our success is based on our in-depth expertise in both the hotel sector and the real estate industry.

On the acquisitions side, we benefit from a broad range of funds with a key focus on hotels. We currently work with hotel brands around the world, from the budget to the upscale segment.

Healthcare

Serviced residences have become a key link in the residential chain, from first-time accommodation for students and young workers to retirement homes.

We invest in healthcare assets such as clinics, rehabilitation centers or residential care facilities.
